One listen to Nameluss and you'll hear that he's much more than just a stereotype. Nameluss began rapping at the young age of 8 emulating MC's like KRS-One, Public Enemy, and Kool Moe Dee. "I've always had a passion for hip-hop," says Nameluss "from the days of Yo MTV Raps to the days of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg." Nameluss always seemed to evolve with the music, always one-step ahead of the musical trends. Early in his life Nameluss would rap to the instrumentals on cassette tape singles, writing his own lyrics about his own life experiences. The lead-off single Summer Grind was picked up by area radio stations and Nameluss' popularity continued to grow. Now in it's completion, Way Too Far is a very diverse hip-hop album. From serious tracks like Lost Ones, to the fun ditty Got That, and even the popular collaboration with Cause and Shade Sheist, Let Me Know; Nameluss displays his talent and creativity over a wide array of musical formats. Not shortly after, local producer, Griffin Boice, invited Nameluss to take part in a new project that he was working on. The project was a hip-hop group called Advocate consisting of Nameluss, a couple of other local rappers, a singer, and the very talented producer. Together they worked a little over a year to produce an album titled Color Blind, but the group lost interest in the end and the album never made it to press. Now more determined than ever Nameluss
